SHORTS

Some Non-Narrative examples of my work. By using image and music, without dialogue, powerful messages can be portrayed in the use of short films.

"Lo Que Fue, Nunca Será"/"What Was, Will Never Be", a short film written and directed by myself, is currently in the last stages of post-production and will be premiered on December 8, 2015 in the 5th Screening of Short Films of the University of Sacred Heart's Advance Film Production Course. In a few weeks the film will be uploaded to the site.

Resume

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in the early 90s, I got to experience Puerto Rico at its prime. There was a lot less infrastructure and concrete — it was pure. The island's beauty and culture are two of the many things that have inspired my work as a filmmaker. I strive to capture the essence of communities, and cultures, and their unique perspectives. However, my passion lies in being able to create films inspired by people's stories. Whether these stories are about a time a person went to the supermarket and encountered a cow in the middle of the road, or the story of how a community came to be, I always focus on the small details, because therein lies the key to a successful film.

My recent move to the United States has already began to stir new ideas and perspectives that I believe can lead to a significant growth in my journey as a filmmaker.
